The Boeing CompanyBoeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Supplier Management & Procurement Agent (Manager) to join our Modifications / Training / MRO (MTM) team in Long Beach CA.
In this critical role the selected candidate will lead a dedicated team to primarily support our global MRO network supporting 737 and 767 Boeing Converted Freighters (BCF) and Modifications. This position offers the opportunity to develop new skills tackle challenging problems and advance within the Supply Chain organization. The leader will be responsible for contracting and performance of MROs.
Position Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team focused on MRO activities and supplier data deliverables ensuring alignment with program objectives and requirements
Collaborate closely with Program Management to integrate MRO strategies into overall program plans and timelines
Proactively manage supplier performance
Foster strong engagement with quality counterparts to align on supplier performance and address any issues that may arise
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers customers stakeholders peers and direct reports to facilitate effective communication and collaboration
Analyze data to identify trends and develop strategies that enhance supplier performance and meet program requirements
Conduct supplier assessments and evaluate risks issues opportunities and impacts on program/customer requirements
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5 years of experience in Supplier Management or Program Management
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelors degree or higher in a relevant field
Proven experience working with suppliers and managing a supply base in a dynamic environment with a focus on data performance management
Strong background in data analysis and strategic decision-making
