As a medical device Assembler III at KARL STORZ North America youll apply your experience in assembling miniature precision medical products to build single-use endoscopes that make a real difference in patient care. This role involves moderately complex assembly tasks working with microscopes adhesives solvents and precision tools in a Class 8 cleanroom.
Location: Franklin MA
Hours: 1st shift (6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday with overtime as needed)
What youll be doing:
Assemble and inspect optical mechanical and miniature components
Follow assembly drawings SOPs and time standards to produce quality devices
Perform cleaning inspection and quality checks using precision tools
Support continuous improvement cross-training and knowledge sharing
Maintain accurate production documentation and adhere to ISO/FDA standards
What youll need to be considered for this position:
High school diploma or equivalent
24 years of experience in precision medical assembly preferred
Strong understanding of endoscope or shaft assembly techniques
Skilled with microscopes adhesives solvents hand/power tools and measurement devices
Keen attention to detail manual dexterity and ability to meet productivity/quality goals
Comfortable working in a cleanroom and handling solvents epoxies and adhesives
