Your Role and Responsibilities
Japanese Native with Automotive software experience
Understand customers project dynamics
a) Project Schedules & Changes
b) Technical specification changes
c) OEM requests and influence on planned activities
d) Lack of technical point clarity from Customer and/or OEM
Able to clearly communicate with Customer and make both parties understand
Must have technical and operational negotiation capability
Person must be able to anticipate issues/surprises and take steps to mitigate
Ensure customer satisfaction with actions and activities that reduce burden on customer engineers and managers
Crisis & Risk Management Identity project risks in advance and define mitigation plans.
In case of any issues in the project drive the root cause analysis and solutions
Strong experience using PPT XLS MPP JIRA alternately project management tools etc.
Exposure to ASPICE standards
Define and Monitor project KPIs for the assigned project. Provide and seek solutions for the deviations in the KPIs defined
Inform stakeholders about all engineering changes or delays in order to adjust schedule
Cost and/or specifications Implement countermeasures and escalate when project progress or results are unsatisfactory
Act as a bridge/advisor for the cross-culture working and continuously propose improved working habits
Experience and Qualifications
Fluency in English and Japanese Languages read write speak
Positive attitude to drive both customer and team in India
Knowledge of Automotive software development the life cycle
Good to have basic understanding of AUTOSAR MBD Testing HILS validation and tools used in SW development
Good know how of project management tools like Jira MPP Excel PPT etc
