RESOURCE ROOM TEACHER UPPER SCHOOLThis position is contingent upon sufficient funding and enrollmentPOSITION SUMMARY:The successful candidate will be expected to work with students identified by the evaluation team as having special needs; develop in coordination with the evaluation team individualized education plans for students approved to receive special needs resource services and implement these plans; provide diagnostic testing of students referred; submit written forms time logs data of students and reports required by the building chairperson and/or the in-service coordinator; participate in all special education staff meetings and in-service training and school programs; complete semi-annual reports on each student and hold a minimum of three parent conferences; provide annual re-evaluation of students currently placed in the program; submit purchase orders for supplies and materials required in the program; complete a yearly inventory of supplies and materials; and participate in all regular school functions at the direction of the building MISSION:Methuen Public Schools enrolls approximately 7000 in a total of five schools. Methuen Public Schools has four PK-8 schools: the Comprehensive Grammar School the Marsh Grammar School the Tenney Grammar School the Timony Grammar School and one comprehensive high school: Methuen High School.
