Job Summary

Amazon Ads operates at the intersection of e-Commerce and Advertising offering a rich array of digital advertising solutions with the goal of helping our customers find and discover anything they want to buy. Amazon DSP is Amazons programmatic advertising product for campaigns spanning Video Audio and Display across the Open Internet and Amazon O&O properties (e.g. Twitch Prime Video FireTV and Amazon Music). We start with the customer and work backwards in everything we do including advertising.

We are seeking a Senior Manager to lead develop and drive the Media Enablement teams strategy to accelerate the growth of Open Internet supply adoption in Japan. Our teams objective is to provide buyers with on-demand access to the addressable inventory and audiences that enable our customers to tell their brand stories. We spearhead strategic supply discovery and adoption with a focus on maximising advertiser value with scalable reach. The successful candidate will have experience in building developing and inspiring teams to deliver against their business addition to managing the team they will work with multiple partner teams to align and execute Amazons Open Internet strategy. Ideally the candidate will have strong industry relationships with multiple stakeholders in the media and ad-tech industry including publishers broadcasters ad exchanges and advertising agencies and will draw upon their business development and relationship building skills to drive strategic initiatives with Amazons key partners.

Key job responsibilities
- Manage the Media Enablement Team including hiring developing and setting targets against team objectives
- Launch new omni-channel supply partnerships and integrations proactively seeking out and executing bespoke strategic initiatives with partners
- Developing strategies and go-to-market plans to accelerate the adoption of open internet supply across Amazon Ads demand programs and ad buyers leveraging deals as a way to package and access supply
- Collate and share publisher advertiser and overall marketplace feedback to help guide the overall direction of the program
- Work cross-functionally with marketing product development and other internal teams to develop pipeline generation and maturation strategies for products and market segments

- Experience building and developing teams
- Strong advertising technology related sales or business development experience
- Experience in identifying and developing strategic initiatives
- Proven experience in developing publisher relationships (supply side ad tech experience)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent

- Experience in writing communicating and presenting to senior leadership
- Prior experience scaling a publisher monetization product or service
- Track record of scaling a new business by streamlining processes and implementing new tools
- Team player with strong persuasion skills including the ability to drive consensus across multiple stakeholders
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic constantly evolving matrixed team environment
- Self-starter with strong financial analysis modelling and business skills
- Comfortable working under deadlines and producing key deliverables
