Coordinates the daily production activities of a production team including job assignment and rotation to achieve production schedules and maintain quality standards. Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment. Monitors timekeeping and attendance and performs some administrative duties as needed.

Must be able to work in a team environment.
Must be able to lift (up to 50lbs.) bend stoop climb and reach.
Ability to follow directions communicated verbally and in writing.
Ability to communicate with fellow associates on job assignments.
Will be required to select proper equipment for the work being done.
Will be required to correctly adjust equipment to ensure part is produced to specifications.
Positions aligns and bolts dies blades bedplates cushion pins and stops.
Adjusts flow of lubricants pressure and depth of stroke or feed of material.
Makes trial runs and measures workpiece for conformance to specifications.
Instructs operator and setup personnel in special handling techniques.
Clears jams and corrects malfunction of machines.
Reports need for machine repairs to supervisor. Dismantles setups.
Sets up drill presses flame cutting and welding machines.
Sets up automatic or multipurpose machines.
