Role Summary
Postgraduate Ambassadors will be emailed with opportunities to work throughout the year by the Central Postgraduate Recruitment Team. Work allocation will typically be upon a first-come first-served basis in response to the emails sent out by the Central Postgraduate Recruitment Team; this provides you with the flexibility to choose work that suits your timetable.
There are a range of opportunities both in-person and online that you can choose to get involved with including the option to work: weekly Unibuddy messages blogs and content creation; delivering campus tours; assisting with Postgraduate Open Days; writing ad hoc blogs and filming; answering student email enquiries; and more. You will receive briefings and training for all of the opportunities.

Main Duties
Assisting with Postgraduate Open Days and being responsible enough to act autonomously and proactively within given roles.
Providing exceptional customer service to prospective students and their guests particularly for those who are experiencing the University for the first time.
Being adaptable to various roles and tasks that are assigned at recruitment events.
Creating and delivering presentations in-person or online detailing student life and personal experiences about topics useful to prospective students.
Acting as a representative and ambassador of the University to uphold its reputation whilst advising prospective students either in-person or online.
Answering prospective students enquiries either during a recruitment event or via our online platforms such as Unibuddy or email queries or taking part in our live chat sessions.
Delivering engaging campus tours to groups of students and guests and providing personal advice when questioned about the University and student experience.
Assisting with the set-up of recruitment events on campus and assuming the responsibility to carry out tasks within a timely manner.

Demonstrable experience of supporting events
Experience and confidence in leading and dealing with large groups of people
