Job Summary
-Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment and machinery
-Perform maintenance on facility systems
-Troubleshoot mechanical electrical hydraulic and pneumatic issues
-Repair and replace parts
-Use hand and power tools
-Use precision instruments
-Read and work from manuals blueprints schematics and work orders
-Maintain accurate records in Excel and maintenance logs including work performed parts used time spent etc
-Assist with installation of new machinery
-Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergencies
-Keep areas clean and organized
-Communicate clearly and professionally with coworkers management and outside resources
-Safety procedures are priority
-Lock out tag out required
-Other duties as assigned
-HS Diploma or a GED is required
-Experience with maintenance in manufacturing or industrial setting
-Ability to use calipers micrometers and other measuring instruments
-Strong problem solving skills
-Ability to wear multiple hats and assist with ordering parts
-Willing to work OT as needed
-Ability to lift 50 lbs
