The YMCA of Greenville is a dynamic and rapidly growing association that seeks to strengthen the community through youth development healthy living and social responsibility.
The Safety & Risk Management Director supports the work of the Y a leading nonprofit charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development healthy living and social responsibility. This role provides strategic leadership and oversight for the YMCA of Greenvilles risk management safety compliance and volunteer processes.
The Director ensures the Association upholds the highest standards of workplace aquatics and child safety while maintaining regulatory compliance. Serving as a subject matter expert and thought partner for Association leadership this position drives a proactive risk-aware culture through staff mentorship and cross-departmental collaboration.
Candidates with strong programmatic leadership experienceparticularly in aquatics camp youth development or other high-safety environmentsare encouraged to apply as these backgrounds provide valuable expertise in building safety culture and effective risk management practices.
