The Fire Protection Field Service Technician advises and assists customers for purposes of safeguarding life and property against fire explosion and related hazards by performing the following duties.
Recommends materials or equipment such as structural components protection fire detection equipment alarm systems fire extinguishing devices and systems and advises on location handling installation and maintenance.
Installs inspects and services customers fire suppression equipment and systems including hood systems on a timely basis.
Picks up and delivers fire extinguishers to customers after repairs or testing have been completed.
Recommends materials equipment or methods for alleviation of conditions conducive to fire.
Provides complete and accurate documentation as required.
Maintains adequate stock levels at customers locations.
Solicits new or additional products or services.
Maintains safe well stocked company vehicles
Prefer but not required at least One year Certificate from college or technical school; or two to four years related experience and/or training.
