Job Summary

Our client a growing construction company is seeking a Project Accountant to join their team!
Responsibilities:
Support job setup: verify contracts budgets and contact details
Track and analyze job costs vs. budget; report on profitability
Assist with billing lien waivers and supporting documentation
Review subcontractor payment draws; manage lien releases and compliance
Process and code invoices pay applications and POs per contract terms
Maintain and reconcile project budgets forecasts and cost reports
Coordinate with title companies and subs on waivers and documentation
Ensure accuracy in accounting systems and support project closeout
Communicate with vendors/subs to resolve billing issues
Assist department heads with ad hoc projects and database updates
Qualifications:
1 year of experience in accounting within the construction space
*College degree is not required
