Your opportunity:
The HR Business Partner works closely with team leaders to build their people and team capabilities and develop initiatives to meet organizational goals.
You will conduct monthly meetings with the leads in your area to provide HR advise and coaching. You will be accountable for the full employee life cycle activities in conjunction with TA and HR this role you will work with teams managers and key stakeholders to develop and execute the HR agenda.
This role involves travel between locations. Youll be expected to work from our Leiden office twice per week and travel to other locations approximately once per month depending on business needs.
To be successful the HR Business Partner must be hands on have a high level of cognitive flexibility and the ability to develop meaningful relationships.
Tasks & responsibilities:
Act as the local point of contact for management in designated area ( location Leiden
Eindhoven Arnhem and Rotterdam) providing expert advice guidance and coaching in all aspects of HR
Conduct day-to-day performance management guidance to team leads (for example mentoring career planning coaching etc.)
Coaching and providing feedback to key stakeholders to help improve business efficiency
Develop solutions to help the business area to deliver its strategy
Questioning and challenging others to get to the root of people and business issues
Provide professional legal advice to the business on legal issues (e.g. disciplinary organisational change employment legislation)
Deliver key HR initiatives across the HR spectrum including workforce planning restructuring talent management pay and reward employee relations employee engagement and performance management
Develop and implement effective HR policies and practices in line with current legislation
Participate in the continual development of HR programs
Collaborate with the HR team to champion and accelerate a culture of excellence in which people feel engaged and inspired
Provide training and onboarding sessions for new hires
Create and analyse monthly HR analytics such as sickness turnover and leave accruals define focus areas and make suggestions for improvement
Work closely with talent acquisition on the recruitment needs for your specific area
Job requirements:
Bachelor or Master degree
Experienced in an international and fast paced environment
Previous experience in a HRBP role
Demonstrated experience in the various HR functional areas
Excellent communication and organisation skills
Proactive flexible and good influencing skills
Experience with creating and analysing HR analytics
Good understanding of Microsoft office applications (Excel)
Fluent in both English and Dutch written and verbally
A good knowledge of HR programs practices and employment law
Experience in working with a Works Council
