Job Description

  • Drive revenue growth by building and scaling Genie AIs sales strategy

Your purpose in our mission

Weve raised $17.8 million in Series A funding led by Google Ventures and joined by Khosla Ventures. They believe in our vision that the law should be accessible to everyone and this is where your skills will influence how thousands of organisations draft and collaborate on legal documents helping them save millions in fees and hours of time.

This is what youll be doing

As a Head of Sales at Genie AI youll be joining us in a dynamic stage of our growth so youll face lots of different challenges. Doing Sales for an AI product is a fascinating challenge so be prepared to adapt your skillset! Below is what we need you to do its up to you on the how:

  • Sales leadership: Build and scale our sales team processes and pipeline management from the ground up
  • Go-to-market strategy: Define and execute our sales strategy across markets
  • Customer acquisition: Drive outbound and inbound sales opportunities moving prospects from interest to closed deals
  • Revenue growth: Own targets forecasting and reporting ensuring sustainable ARR growth
  • Partnership building: Establish and nurture strategic relationships
  • Sales enablement: Work with Marketing and Product to refine positioning pricing and collateral that accelerates deal velocity.


This is how well set you up for success and the outcomes we expect from you

Over your first 90 days you can expect us to help point you in the right direction to set you up for success. During the interview process we can talk you through a high level overview of your 90 day plan.

By the end of your first six months we expect you to:
  • Deliver a repeatable sales process and playbook
  • Close flagship enterprise accounts that demonstrate market fit
  • Hire and onboard your first sales team members
Well continually develop and measure success on the below criteria:
  • Consistent attainment of revenue targets
  • Sales cycle efficiency and forecast accuracy
  • Growth of pipeline value and win rates

We also listen to our team as we empower you to have full autonomy of your role - youre the expert. You should expect to work with us on how your role develops grows and changes throughout your time at Genie.

  • Selling disruptive tech into a conservative industry is challenging
  • Processes are still evolving youll be building as you sell
  • Priorities shift quickly as we adapt to customer needs

The skills you need to succeed in this role

  • Proven success in B2B SaaS sales ideally at Head of Sales or Sales Director level
  • Track record of closing enterprise deals (100k ARR)
  • Ability to build and scale a sales team
  • Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen
  • Excellent communication negotiation and relationship-building skills
