Shift Type/Shift Times/Hours/Day: Days 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM 10
Shift Notes: 40-Hour Guarantee
Weekend Requirements: One weekend per month (Saturday)
On-Call Requirements: No Call

Travel Policy: Candidates Permanent Address (Facility will not consider local candidates - 50-mile radius restriction)

This position delegates responsibility to the Occupational Therapist Assistant and Aides. Activities of this position are patient-focused and utilize assessment planning intervention and evaluation following occupational therapy standards physician orders and governing policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- (20%)* Evaluate the patients function by performing formal/informal testing measures to determine the skeletal neurological respiratory cardiovascular status developmental social and cognitive functions.
- (20%)* Develop a goal-specific treatment regimen based on assessment data and the patients tolerance to carry out the treatment plan as prescribed.
- (20%)* Submit a written treatment regimen to be included as part of the plan of treatment authorized by and coordinated with the physician. Updates plan of care as needed to reflect changes in patient -signs verbal orders received by the occupational therapist assistant as necessary.
- (20%)* Devise a schedule of treatment which is frequency and duration specific to be discussed with the patient/family/caregiver and coordinated with clinical support staff.
- (20%)* Educates patient family and/or caregiver regarding pathology or condition patient alternatives prognosis and rationale for treatment through forms of rest exercise modalities and other indicated interventions.
