About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee and deliver large-scale heavy civil and infrastructure projects. This role requires a strategic leader with hands-on project execution expertise who can manage multiple priorities coordinate diverse teams and ensure projects are delivered on time within scope and on budget.

Youll take ownership of projects from pre-construction through closeout working closely with engineers superintendents subcontractors and stakeholders. This is an opportunity to apply your civil construction expertise in a high-impact role where precision accountability and leadership are key.

Key Responsibilities

Lead multiple projects simultaneously ensuring proper planning and execution from permits and pre-construction through project close-out.
Oversee daily progress to ensure adherence to company standards timelines and project goals.
Manage and resolve project challenges including change orders unforeseen issues and client instructions.
Collaborate with Project Engineers and Superintendents to align technical and managerial execution.
Monitor project expenses collaborate with accounting on billings and ensure overall financial health of each project.
Prepare accurate financial forecasts and budgets applying cost-saving strategies when appropriate.
Lead subcontractor procurement contract negotiations and relationship management.
Coordinate schedules with project teams ensuring unified execution and accountability.
Maintain consistent communication with stakeholders providing updates and documenting all changes.
Supervise final project phases ensuring financial settlements and closeouts are managed transparently.

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in Construction Management Civil Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
5 years of project management experience in heavy civil construction.
Strong understanding of infrastructure site development and roadway/highway construction projects.
Familiarity with USACE and FHWA standards is preferred.
Experience with project management software such as HCSS Procore or similar platforms.
Excellent communication negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
