We are seeking a highly skilled Power BI Backend Developer who thrives on architecting data solutions and building robust scalable Power BI models. This role is ideal for someone who is not just technically strong but also creative in how they connect and shape data to drive business insights.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement end-to-end Power BI solutions from data ingestion to report delivery.
Architect and optimize data models that support complex reporting needs.
Develop and maintain Power Query (M language) transformations and DAX measures.
Connect to and integrate data from multiple sources (SQL Server Excel APIs cloud services etc.).
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into scalable data models.
Ensure data quality performance tuning and row-level security in Power BI datasets.
Be creative and resourceful in joining disparate data sources and solving data challenges.
Support and mentor analysts or junior developers on Power BI best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

Hands-on experience with Power BI including Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
Strong expertise in Power Query (M) and DAX.
Proven experience in data modeling ETL and data architecture.
Advanced Excel skills including Power Query and data modeling in Excel.
Deep understanding of relational databases and SQL.
Ability to think creatively and strategically about data relationships and transformations.
Experience working with large datasets and optimizing performance.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
