This role is critical in driving alignment across Sales Marketing Finance and Supply Planning by turning data-driven insights into accurate actionable forecasts. The ideal candidate will pair strong analytical expertise with cross-functional collaboration skills to support growth optimize inventory and elevate service levels.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build and communicate bottom-up budget forecasts and trend projections to Finance
- Develop and maintain item/SKU- and account-level demand forecasts to support in-year financial and service-level goals
- Analyze sales trends customer data and new product performance to identify forecast risks and opportunities
- Translate product initiatives and promotional strategies into actionable demand scenarios for internal teams
- Lead and drive monthly demand planning meetings (Consensus) ensuring alignment across Sales Marketing and Finance
- Track and report forecast variances vs. prior month (Lag-1) and prior quarter (Lag-3) to Supply Planning
- Partner cross-functionally to support new product launch planning leveraging historical benchmarks market insights and merchandising plans
- Drive continuous improvement by contributing to the development of best-in-class forecasting tools processes and analytics
- Prepare and present reports on forecast accuracy product performance and key business drivers
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5-7 years supply planning or adjacent supply chain experience
- Must have proven experience working with key retail accounts within Beauty and/or Food/Drug/Mass/Digital channels (e.g. Ulta Sephora Walmart Target Whole Foods Amazon etc.)
- Experience with planning systems; Demandcaster experience is a plus
- Curiosity for systems and processes and how they can be improved to work more efficiently
- Lead and Manage by Influencing others
- Team orientated mindset
- Effective time management and able to deal with competing priorities appropriately and independently
- Excellent verbal written and interpersonal communication skills
- Microsoft Office product knowledge including intermediate knowledge in using Excel spreadsheets.
