We are looking for a CNO (Computer Network Operations) Analyst Programmer who is very skilled and motivated to join our cybersecurity team. The best candidate will be able to analyze things well and program at a high level to help make integrate and deploy complex cyber tools and solutions. You will work with cybersecurity analysts network engineers and threat intelligence teams to make sure that the network is well protected and that cyber mission goals are met.
Main Duties:
Create build test and put into use custom software and scripts for cyber operations like penetration testing vulnerability analysis and network defense.
Look at network traffic logs and data to find bad behavior and deal with cyber threats.
Reverse engineer bad code and come up with the right ways to stop it.
Work with teams from different areas to add cyber tools and solutions to the infrastructure that is already in place.
Write down technical processes results and solutions so that people can report them and share what they know.
Stay up to date on new threats weaknesses and best practices for cybersecurity.
Help junior team members learn new skills and give them technical advice.
You need a bachelors degree in computer science cybersecurity information technology or a related field (or work experience that is similar).
More than two years of experience in CNO cybersecurity programming or a related field.
Ability to write code in languages like Python C C Java or Assembly.
Know how to use network security tools and technologies like Wireshark Nmap and Metasploit.
Good at analyzing and solving problems.
You should know how to use Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with tools for analyzing malware and reverse engineering like IDA Pro Ghidra and OllyDbg.
Knowledge of offensive and defensive cyber operations in a secure setting.
Certifications like CEH CISSP OSCP or GIAC.
Pay:
Pay by the hour: $60 to $90 per hour depending on experience education and level of security clearance.
