Job Summary
As a Compliance Officer you will play a critical role in maintaining and improving the companys compliance framework. You will be responsible for ensuring that internal policies procedures and operations comply with applicable laws regulations and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities

Monitor and interpret changes in relevant laws regulations and compliance standards

Develop and update internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance

Conduct internal audits and risk assessments

Investigate and resolve compliance issues or concerns

Prepare and submit regulatory reports and filings as required

Collaborate with legal HR finance and other departments to implement compliance protocols

Train employees on compliance policies and ethical practices

Serve as the point of contact for external auditors and regulatory agencies
Qualifications
-
Must be authorized to work in the United States
-
Minimum 1 years of experience in a compliance-related role
-
Strong knowledge of U.S. regulatory requirements (e.g. SEC FINRA HIPAA SOX depending on industry)

Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills

Strong communication and problem-solving abilities

Experience with compliance management systems (CMS) is a plus
