The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company is seeking to hire an Associate Manufacturing Planner (Spares Retrofit Mods) to join our Production Supply Chain Team at our Seattle WA facility.
Job Responsibilities
- Making mass changes to part data records
- Validating requests to make changes to records in the SAP system
- Support design requirements for teams leaving legacy parts system and entering SAP
- Investigate interaction problems between different systems and SAP
- Elevate system errors and fixes needed to IT
- Review internal SAP system queues
- Evaluate impact and notify users of system downtime
- Test new changes to the SAP system catalog testing results and communicate findings
- Find and fix gaps in data on a systematic level
- Communicate process gaps with ME community
- Test and manage administration of restricted users
- Communicate escapements and incidents of non-compliance
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution
- Experience: 2 years of related work experience with Boeing engineering requirements and processes
- Technical Skills: Ability to read understand and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings to stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to identify problems develop solutions and implement changes in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of programming language(s): Microsoft Excel VBA or similar
- Previous knowledge/experience or ambition to learn internal system interfaces and how to manipulate system code for the benefit of Boeing systems processes and users
- Experience with supply chain
- Experience with PDM CAPP REDARS STEPS SAP
