Job Description
Team Leader (Ukraine-based)
We are seeking a highly experienced Team Leader to guide the delivery of the UK FCDOs Verification and Technical Assurance (VERITAS) Program in Ukraine. This is a unique opportunity to shape one of the most ambitious monitoring and assurance programs in Europe supporting accountability and transparency in humanitarian and development aid delivery.
Objective of the Position:
To provide overall leadership coordination and quality assurance for all components of VERITAS ensuring that the program delivers independent reliable evidence and technical assurance to FCDO and partners. The Team Leader will ensure program coherence stakeholder trust and measurable impact on aid effectiveness in Ukraine.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead program implementation across multiple workstreams.
- Serve as the primary interface with FCDO and senior stakeholders.
- Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary core team.
- Ensure adherence to safeguarding ethical principles and duty of care.
- Represent the program in high-level forums and partnerships.
Qualifications:
- 1015 years leadership experience in TPM MEL or research in fragile/conflict contexts.
- Previous experience managing FCDO or other donor-funded large and complex contracts.
- Advanced degree in international development political science economics or related field.
- Fluency in Ukrainian and English.
- Strong track record in team leadership diplomacy and risk management.
