The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Supply Base Management Specialist to join our dynamic team in Everett Washington or Berkeley Missouri.
Manages supplier/subcontractor performance and relationships. Provides business and strategic guidance for critical suppliers commodities and programs. Leads the resolution of complex or strategic supply chain issues. Consults with management and customers to lead the development of future supply base requirements. Integrates supplier strategies with program needs and supply base capabilities. Drives the companys cross-functional supply base strategy process. Evaluates potential proposals and coordinates sourcing proposals. Ensures external partners are meeting business expectations. Acts as primary point of contact for suppliers customers and programs.
Position Responsibilities:

- Integrates supplier strategies with program needs and supply base capabilities

- Ensures external partners are meeting business expectations
- Acts as primary point of contact for suppliers customers and programs
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position is for 1st shift.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- More than 5 years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management
- More than 5 years of experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelors degree or higher
- Experience in root cause analysis and Corrective action
- More than 5 years of experience with cost proposal preparation on government contracts
- More than 3 years of experience working with suppliers in a technical capacity
Typical Education/Experience:
Typically 15 or more years related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor Master etc.) preferred but not required.
Relocation:

Travel:
Position may require travel up to 25% of the time.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range:
Everett WA - $127500 - $157500
Berkeley MO - $119000 - $147000
