In data engineering at PwC you will focus on designing and building data infrastructure and systems to enable efficient data processing and analysis. You will be responsible for developing and implementing data pipelines data integration and data transformation solutions.

PwC - AC is looking for a Supplier Master Data Management (MDM) Architect to lead the design and delivery of supplier data solutions. The role will focus on building a reliable supplier golden record implementing data quality frameworks and ensuring supplier data is accurate consistent and connected across multiple systems. The Architect will work with procurement finance and technology teams to define the right MDM architecture oversee integrations and guide governance practices.

Key Responsibilities

Define the end-to-end architecture for supplier MDM covering design integration and governance.

Lead the development of the Supplier Golden Record ensuring supplier data is consolidated de-duplicated and enriched from multiple systems (SAP Coupa JDE PeopleSoft iScala etc.).

Oversee the implementation of the Data Quality (DQ) framework including automated validation monitoring and dashboards.

Establish and maintain data governance standards survivorship rules and stewardship processes to keep supplier data reliable.

Partner with business SMEs to confirm rules for match/merge enrichment and data traceability.

Guide development teams on integration Strategy and patterns.

Review architecture troubleshoot performance issues and drive enhancements.

Maintain architectural documents design blueprints and technical standards for supplier MDM.

Qualifications

10 years of experience in data management or enterprise architecture with 5 years focused on MDM.

Hands-on experience required with one or more MDM tools (e.g. Informatica MDM SAP MDG Reltio Stibo or equivalent.)

Strong knowledge of supplier data domains vendor onboarding and procurement processes.

Technical proficiency in SQL ETL APIs and data integration.

Strong understanding of data governance data modeling and data quality management.

Familiarity with ERP and procurement systems (SAP Oracle Coupa Ariba JDE PeopleSoft).

Ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate clearly with both technical and business stakeholders.
