Occupational Therapist (Permanent Role) Location: San Angelo TX 76903
Shift: 10-hr Days 08:00 AM - 06:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: (40 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in a full-time permanent capacity. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality therapy services to a diverse patient population support patient-centered care and contribute to positive clinical outcomes. New graduates are welcome to apply.
Essential Functions:
- Evaluate treat and monitor patients in accordance with individual therapy goals.
- Modify therapy plans and goals based on ongoing assessments and patient progress.
- Perform thorough concise and timely clinical documentation.
- Enter patient charges accurately and understand reimbursement guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with patients families and interdisciplinary team members.
- Educate patients families and healthcare staff on treatment plans and progress.
- Supervise students volunteers and ancillary staff as appropriate.
- Stay current with evidence-based practices and integrate into clinical care.
- Share knowledge and mentor colleagues to support team development.
- Comply with organizational state and federal regulations.
- Align daily work activities with broader system and department goals.

- Licensure/Certification:

- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 90 days of hire
