Job Summary

Physical Therapist (Permanent Role)

Location: San Angelo TX 76903

Shift: 12-hr Days 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM

Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)

Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)

Essential Functions

Evaluate treat and monitor patient progress toward functional goals.
Modify therapy programs and adjust goals based on patient response and clinical findings.
Complete clear thorough and timely clinical documentation.
Accurately enter billing charges and understand reimbursement procedures related to therapy services.
Effectively communicate with patients families care teams and coworkers.
Provide education to patients families and healthcare staff regarding therapy plans and expectations.
Supervise ancillary staff students and volunteers as needed.
Stay current with advancements in physical therapy through continuing education literature review and application of evidence-based practices.
Mentor and support clinical development of peers and junior staff.
Comply with all organizational state and federal regulations and policies.
Align daily activities with overall system and departmental goals.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelors or Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
Experience: New graduates accepted.
Licensure/Certifications:
- Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire).
