Available Shift:

• Rotating 12 hour shift 7am-7pm/7pm-7am
  

  Must be able to work 12 hour rotating shifts on a Dupont schedule

• Includes 7 consecutive days off every month!

Key Job Responsibilities

• Moving pallets of product containing printed cartons
• Weigh waste pallets and report out on waste
• Band waste and run shrink wrapper
• Band and crush cores in a core bailer
• Unload corgated trailers
• Ability to operate PIT in a congested production environment
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
• Ability to read and understand schedules to ensure each shift is stocked with product

Frequent tasks

• Climbing off and on forklift (height of 3 feet)
• Looking over shoulder to right and left while reversing or driving backwards with load
• Operate right handed operating controls (little pressure required but frequent grabbing of controls)
• Sitting on forklift for 8 to 12 hours
• Changing battery (max. 3116 lbs) (using hoist) may require some upper body control of swinging battery (abs and shoulders)
• Looking up to 45 degrees tilting neck back when pulling orders and putting pallet in racks

The Evergreen Packaging Raleigh Carton Converting Facility is located in Raleigh North Carolina which is also home to North Carolina State University and the states capitol. Opened in 1953 and employing 120 team members. The facility prints and die cuts refrigerated gable top cartons for a variety of global brands found in retail groceries throughout the US. It also extrudes cupstock and foil board and has received the State of North Carolina Excellence Award for the last 20 years. The facility has also exceded 8 years without a lost time injury.
