Job Summary:

The Workday Project Manager is responsible for leading the planning execution and delivery of Workday Financials implementations and enhancements. This role serves as a bridge between finance stakeholders and technical teams ensuring that Workday solutions align with business goals and financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end implementation of Workday Financials modules (e.g. General Ledger Accounts Payable/Receivable Asset Management).
  • Develop and manage project plans timelines budgets and resource allocations.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including finance IT and external consultants.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between finance stakeholders and Workday technical teams.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements and communicate project status.
  • Oversee integrations between Workday Financials and other enterprise systems.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within financial operations.
  • Monitor project risks and issues and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and present regular status reports to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation including business requirements test plans and training materials.

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor s degree in Finance Accounting Business Administration or related field.
  • 3 5 years of project management experience preferably in financial systems or ERP implementations.
  • Experience Managing Workday implementation or integration projects is required.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g. MS Project JIRA Smartsheet).
  • Excellent communication leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with Workday Financials modules and reporting tools.
  • Understanding of system integrations and data migration strategies.

Required Skills : The end client is Finish Line. **Candidates must be willing to relocate to Indianapolis Indiana prior to the start date** In order to be eligible for this role consultant must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.** **Candidates MUST have previous experience in managing Workday implementation or integration projects (Workday Financial Module HIGHLY preferred) **Proven track record managing multi-stream Workday integration projects managing cross-functional teams vendors and stakeholders across Finance HR and IT. **A solid understanding of the Workday Financials platform and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and resources to ensure successful project completion.
