Job Description

We are looking for native contributors to participate in a project that involvesrecorded conversations and transcription in specific languages.


Project Details

  • Format: Recorded conversation between 2 participants
  • Platform: Planned via Zoom (please let us know if Zoom is not accessible in your region)
  • Deliverables:
    • 34 separate recordings
    • Each recording must be 56 minutes long
  • Style: Unscripted conversations (we will provide only topics and discussion points)


Examples of Conversation Types

  • General phone conversations produced spontaneously by participants
  • Call centerstyle conversations (agentcustomer goal-oriented typical of real call center interactions)
  • Special topics: workplace meetings healthcare-related discussions public safety topics etc.


Target Languages

  1. Iu Mien locations: US China Laos Thailand Vietnam
  2. Hmong focus on Hmong Daw (White Hmong) as spoken in the US
  3. Lao focus on Vientiane Lao Northern Lao Southern Lao and Central Lao
  4. Akan focus on Asante Twi Akuapem Twi and Fante


Additional Requirement

  • Transcription of the audio recordings is required for final delivery.
  • Experience with transcription
  • Competitive rates
