Job Summary:
This Registered Nurse (RN) position in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) requires a highly skilled and experienced professional to provide critical care to patients. The RN will be responsible for patient assessments medication administration treatment planning and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential.

Responsibilities:
- Providing skilled nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
- Performing patient assessments and monitoring vital signs.
- Administering medications and treatments as ordered.
- Developing and implementing treatment plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records.
- Collaborating effectively with physicians other nurses and other healthcare professionals.
- Responding to patient needs and emergencies in a timely and efficient manner.
- Participating in interdisciplinary rounds and care planning meetings.
- Educating patients and their families about their care and treatment.
- Adhering to all hospital policies and procedures.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
- Minimum of two years of experience in hospital home health or hospice care (ICU experience preferred).
- Clinical assessment medication administration and treatment planning skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelors degree in Nursing or related field.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience in critical care settings (ICU).
- Advanced certifications (e.g. CCRN).
Special Considerations:
- Night shift position.
- Work in a fast-paced high-pressure ICU environment.
Scheduling:
- Night shift schedule; specific shift details to be determined.
