Job Summary:
This Registered Nurse position requires at least two years of experience in a hospital setting and involves providing skilled nursing care case management and potentially hospice care to patients. The role necessitates strong communication and collaboration skills within an interdisciplinary team focusing on patient assessments medication administration and treatment planning. Floating between units is required.
Location: Petaluma California United States.
Responsibilities:
- Patient assessments and monitoring.
- Medication administration and treatment planning.
- Collaboration with interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Providing skilled nursing care including case management and potentially hospice care.
- Charting in Epic.
- Performing duties in various units (Medical/Surgical ICU ER Psychiatric Labor & Delivery PACU Operating Room).
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of employment.
- Bachelors degree in Nursing or related field.
- Minimum two years of hospital home health or hospice care experience.
- ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Clinical assessment medication administration and treatment planning skills.
- Interdisciplinary team collaboration skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Drivers license car insurance and personal vehicle for field work (if applicable).
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience in multiple specialties (Medical/Surgical ICU ER Psychiatric Labor & Delivery PACU Operating Room).
Special Considerations:
- Weekend work is required every other weekend.
- Floating between units is required.
- Block scheduling is at the managers discretion.
- The facility allows for one call-off per two-week pay period.
- New graduates are accepted.
Scheduling:
- Shift type and scheduling details will be determined by the manager. Weekend rotation is required every other weekend.
