The pay rate for this position is $24 per hour
The award-winning Forbes 4-Star and AAA 5-Diamond Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort & Clubis looking for aEvents Concierge to join the Sales & Marketing Team!
Located in the beautiful coastal town of Dana Point adjacent to Laguna Beach this town played an iconic role in the emergence of Californias surf culture and today is celebrated for its laid-back vibe and fun active lifestyle.
The resort is perched on 175 acres atop a 150-foot seaside bluff with over 400 rooms 115000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space and 8 food and Beverage outlets. This includes 4 restaurants a beach club lounge marketplace and IRD.
Classification: Full-Time
Shift: Various must have availability to work weekends weekdays and holidays.

What will I be doing
As an Event Concierge you would be responsible for working with Meeting and Event Managers prior to functions and work with Event Planners for day of events. Specifically this includes but is not limited to:
- Prepareand analyze banquet event orders to gather function and guest information and ensure a proper timeline is in place.
- Respond to and fulfill all last minute event arrangements and requests.
- Follow up on and ensure proper execution of events.
- Work closely with Catering and Sales departments on a daily basis
- Keep open channels of communication with all departments within hotel
- Main point of contact the day of special events
