Requirements Engineer

T-Rex is looking for a fully cleared Senior Requirements Engineer to work on a program in the Annapolis Junction area in support of the Intelligence Community.

Responsibilities:

• This position is a hands-on System Engineering/Requirements Management position supporting a mission critical system.

  • Expertise in requirements discovery resolution definition derivation and baselining
  • Background in working with all levels of military and government leads
  • Background in data flow management and control reverse engineering documentation and comprehensive systems design.
  • Strong interpersonal skills good writing skills good presentation skills experience and knowledge with JIRA and its use for requirements Management.
  • Excellent communicator and publisher of clear concise and complete design documentation using industry standard tools such as but not limited to SysML
  • Understanding of iterative/agile/structure development approaches

Requirements:

• Fourteen (14) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope type and complexity is required. Bachelors degree in System Engineering Computer Science Information Systems Engineering Science Engineering Management or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a Bachelors degree.

• TS/SCI FSP with ability to receive privileged access rights.

In compliance with pay transparency guidelines the annual base salary range for this position is $160000 - $200000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. T-Rex considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position candidates work experience education/training key skills internal peer equity as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
