Maximum pay - $40.00 **Placement within the wage range for this position is determined by years of experience qualifications and demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions.** Responsibilities- Assist the Occupational Therapist in evaluating patients physical mental and emotional conditions
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on residents needs and goals
- Assist residents with exercises and activities to improve their strength mobility and coordination
- Teach residents how to use adaptive equipment and assistive technology to perform daily activities
- Monitor residents progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Document residents progress and communicate with other healthcare professionals
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to residents and their families
Qualifications- Associates degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- State licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
