You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailAs part of the Ministry Operations team at The Austin Stone Community Church the Front Office Associate (FOA) is the frontline of connection with visitors and staff and sets the initial tone for their experience at the office. The FOA will be responsible for providing administrative and front desk support. The Front Office Associate will report to the Office Manager.
Administration - Demonstrated ability to understand and accurately support the Office Manager and Facility Operations Division through communication shared notes updates and invoices in a timely manner. . Strong ability to support multiple tasks at once in a changing environment with frequent interruptions.
Hospitality - Greets people with a smile. Approachable and friendly demeanor able to help people feel welcome in a new environment. Anticipates needs of both visitors and staff providing supplies words environments and actions to create a positive customer experience. Offers assistance and suggestions to improve the office environment.
Communication - Has clarity of speech and proper use of grammar. Demonstrated capacity to inspire instruct and encourage through effective communication in various settings. Able to actively listen to build rapport and establish trust. Able to look people in the eye while they talk. Able to communicate and work within a complex organizational structure with multiple layers of input. Demonstrates care and hospitality by engaging with people and having a warm and welcoming manner.
Detail Oriented & Problem Solving Skills - Proven critical thinking skills. Shows attention to detail with processes and systems. Able to provide problem-solving support. Able to successfully develop new and better ways to work and promote a continuous improvement mentality.
Collaboration - Collaborate across the organization and with various ministry partners. Ability to integrate multiple perspectives and synthesize them into a cohesive plan.
Software & Technology - Skilled in the operation of computer systems including MacOS Google suite and word processing applications such as MS Office suite of products. Proficient in data entry data processing and the use of communication tools. Experience with (or ability to quickly adapt to) multiple software platforms such as Church Community Builder Slack Asana etc. Able to build confidence in support of technology tools.
