Job Title: Maintenance Technician - Electrical and welding

Pay Rate: $28/hr.

Shift: TBD

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This role will focus on maintaining and repairing production equipment with a strong emphasis on electrical troubleshooting and welding.

Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical diagnostics repairs and preventative maintenance on production machinery.
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and other automated systems. (preferred but not mandatory)
• Weld and fabricate parts as needed to maintain or improve machinery and facility operations.
• Perform routine inspections to ensure machines meet safety and operational standards.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Assist with installation and commissioning of new machinery or upgrades.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in electrical maintenance and welding in a manufacturing setting (food manufacturing experience a plus).
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints.
• Proficiency in MIG/TIG welding and basic metal fabrication.
• Understanding of industrial electrical systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in various temperatures
• Punctual with good attendance
• Able to work overtime and some weekends
