Description/Job Summary:
The Technical Administrative Coordinator will provide administrative support to the Americas Technical Service (TS) team. Reporting directly to the Vice President Americas Application and Technical Service. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with TS team members coordinating internal events and external customer activities. The Technical Coordinator must be highly organized creative and enjoy working with multiple internal key stakeholders. The ideal individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a diversity of situations possess strong communication administrative and organizational skills and maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate internal meetings and customer visits in Hoffman Estate.
- Provide support to lab organization and supplies.
- Serves as a liaison to the TS leadership team; organizes and coordinates special projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate and organize special events in support of the business (i.e. business conferences off-site meetings sales meetings large customer meetings industry events etc.).
- Support invoice processing and projects managing lab equipment purchases
- Organize and responsible for new employee onboarding process and any large administrating project support
- Manage technical document filing process and organize SharePoint site
- Prepare Word Excel PowerPoint presentations agendas reports special projects and other documents in support of TS team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent job experience preferred
- 2 years of related experience required
- Strong computer skills; advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook Word Excel and PowerPoint)
- Project coordination planning and multi-tasking skills
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- High level of attention to detail and ability to process complex information
- Flexible hours as dictated by the needs of the business for projects and meetings.
- Established capability in managing stakeholders across a complex matrix use of strong interpersonal influencing and communication skills.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced environment; performs additional duties as assigned by TS leadership.

When determining final compensation we take into consideration: skillset job scope knowledge prior experience cost of living market data budget availability and other factors as permitted by law.
The salary range for this position is: $46000 - $67000.
