How Youll Make An Impact
As a Senior Engineer youll design and build sophisticated systems that harness agentic providers and LLM-powered frameworks. Youll collaborate with product managers other engineering teams and customer success to deliver features that push the boundaries of whats possible with AI and automation.
What You Will Do
- Be a core member of an Agile team owning features across the development lifecycle.
- Design and implement integrations with agentic providers (e.g. AWS Agentcore AWS Bedrock Vertex AI Anthropic OpenAI) and orchestration frameworks.
- Develop smart evaluation frameworks to test and score agents.
- Build micro-services with an emphasis on reliability performance and AI-powered features.
- Work independently with minimal guidance while mentoring peers through design discussions and code reviews.
- Research validate and recommend technology choices for new AI-powered features.
The Experience You Bring
- Experience working with AI/agentic providers (e.g. Bedrock Vertex AI OpenAI APIs) and orchestration frameworks.
- Hands-on expertise in building and evaluating LLM-based applications including benchmarking test harnesses and metrics.
- Solid background in backend development with Python Java Spring Boot REST/GraphQL services.
- Familiarity with modern CI/CD pipelines source control and Agile collaboration tools (JIRA Confluence).
- Ability to quickly learn new tools frameworks and languages.
- Experience with software security tools (Snyk) and resolving vulnerabilities.
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills with a focus on scalability and fault tolerance.
- Education & Experience:
- Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field with 4 years of software development experience; OR
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field with 6 years of software development experience.
Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred - S3 ECS EKS EC2 CloudFormation).
- Exposure to frontend frameworks (React Angular Vue).
- Proficiency in SQL and ORM tools (Hibernate JPA).
- Background in designing scalable microservices and distributed systems.
- Familiarity with integrating multi-agent collaboration systems leveraging platforms like AWS Bedrock or frameworks like CrewAI.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with experience working in global teams.
- Ability to work in environments with a high emphasis on performance optimization and intelligent automation.

Compensation and Benefits
Boomi is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Base compensation for this position in our corporate headquarters in Conshohocken PA begins at $128K. Final compensation will be determined by various factors including the candidates knowledge skills and experience. An overview of our benefits can be found here.
