Job Description
We are looking for a confident and friendlyBar Back / Glass Collector(part time Fridays and Saturdays) to join our dynamic team atThe Square.
The Square is Bristols premier private members club for the media and arts industries. Comprising a sumptuous members cocktail bar fine dining restaurant events space and stunning outdoor garden space this is a venue that delivers on many fronts!
Our new Bar Back will be based in the Squares cocktail bar where you can enjoy a range of service types - from day to day drinks service for club members and hotel guests from the on-site Berkeley Square Hotel to private and corporate events. These can range from weddings and private parties to networking events film/TV wrap parties and more!
This entry-level position will provide a great springboard for those interested in working the world of high-end cocktails and looking to get a foot in the door while working with a friendly and fun team!
Key details of the Bar Back / Glass Collector position:
- Based at The Squarein Clifton Bristol
- 10hours per week
- The above hours will spread over 2 shifts per week usually falling on a Friday and Saturday evenings from 7/8pm.
- 12.30 per hour plus service charge
- Due to the late finish of these shifts our ideal candidate will lively relatively locally to the Clifton area
- Key duties will be bar backing (assisting the bartenders with tasks such as stocking restocking and keeping the area clean) and glass collecting
- Due to licensing applicants must be aged 21 or over
About our ideal Bar Back / Glass Collector
- A hard-working organised and charismatic individual comfortable interacting with our club members and event guests
- A good level of spoken English and the ability to communicate well within a team
- A keen eye for detail
- Adaptability and the ability to think on your feet
You will need to be flexible as the style of service will change throughout the week depending on the event. Our team works to deliver drinks that exceed the standard expected by customers: from a wedding guest to industry ambassadors to BBC presenters and film crew.
