Logistics Specialist
Onsite - Eindhoven - Full time
Fixed Term Contract for 1 year
We are seeking a Logistics Specialist for a 1 year fixed term contract to join our team in Eindhoven and be responsible for managing and optimizing the daily logistics processes across the organization to ensure efficient compliant and cost-effective operations.

The role
As Logistics Specialist you will be involved in collaborating with cross-functional teams maintaining quality standards and acting as a subject matter expert on global logistics import/export regulations and order management.
Responsibilities:
Providing high-level coordination of order processing ensuring efficient prioritization allocation and release of orders to meet delivery commitments.
In the role as Subject Matter Expect responsible for monitoring and managing workload and backlogs ensuring optimal resource allocation and readiness for peak periods including delivery planning
Overseeing invoice creation processes ensuring accuracy regulatory compliance and resolution of invoicing issues.
Coordinating Coordinate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot any invoice or regulatory blocks
Managing all aspects of transportation logistics including carrier relations export/import documentation and scheduling to ensure smooth and compliant global shipments.
Leading initiatives with internal teams and third-party providers to improve logistics performance and streamline transportation processes.
Supervising shipment tracking and exception management proactively mitigating issues using lane performance with carriers and internal stakeholders.
Leading efforts to enhance visibility into shipment status improve tracking accuracy and develop corrective actions for problematic shipment routes.
Acting as the primary escalation point for logistics-related complaints and field return issues ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
Implementing root cause analysis and preventive actions to minimize future issues maintaining a customer-focused approach to logistics support.
Ensuring all logistics operations comply with quality and regulatory standards partnering with compliance teams to address country-specific requirements.
Maintaining high standards for inventory accuracy and minimize discrepancies through continuous process improvements.
Developing and generate performance reports providing insights and recommendations for process optimization and cost savings.
Supporting knowledge transfer and training for logistics staff ensuring alignment with best practices and organizational standards.
Participating in and lead special projects aimed at enhancing logistics operations and supporting strategic business objectives.

Requirements:
Solid knowledge of import/export regulations and country-specific compliance requirements.
Strong understanding of inventory management and logistics concepts.
Ability to analyze and independently resolve planning and logistics issues.
Proficiency in ERP systems and familiarity with office software (e.g. Word Excel PowerPoint).
Experience with process improvement initiatives; Continuous Improvement experience is preferred.
Excellent mathematical organizational and detail-oriented skills.
Familiarity with GMPs product specifications and incoming inspection procedures.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present effectively.
Able to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with multiple teams.
Experience in preparing and delivering performance and compliance reports.

Experience/Education:
HBO level professional and intellectual ability
Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in logistics
Fluency in English is required and knowledge of any additional European language is a strong advantage.
