Sales Strategy & Operations Analyst
The Sales Strategy & Operations Analyst will be part of Fastlys Global Sales Operations team providing Tier 1 Sales Operations support. They will partner closely with the Tier 1 Sales Operations lead as well as multiple stakeholders across Field Channel and SE operations Marketing operations Sales Process and Systems lead and IT Business Systems teams.
This role will be an entry-level Sales Operations role and currently reports to the Sr. Director of Sales Strategy & Operations. As we expand the Tier 1 Sales Operations model reporting lines may change.
The perfect candidate for this role is a self-starter curious and willing to learn new things quickly. They will have a basic understanding of Sales as a business function with a minimum of 1 to 2 years experience either in Sales/SDR/BDR roles or supporting Sales teams in high-tech or SaaS based companies. They will have a basic-level knowledge of Salesforce CRM as well as other key sales tools supporting Prospecting Account and Opportunity Management.
They will also have a foundation in analytical and problem solving skills able to compile basic data analysis using Excel or Google Sheets. Finally they will have a sense of urgency in responding to Sales inquiries to deliver a positive Sales support experience.
What Youll Do:
Support the Tier 1 Sales Operations lead in setting the foundation for an optimized Tier 1 support model. They will do this through process documentation managing and responding to sales inquiries within defined SLAs and triaging and escalating to Tier 2 support level teams (Field Channel and SE operations) as needed.
Responsible for managing defined Tier 1 scope related sales inquiries. For any other inquiries they will escalate to the appropriate Tier 2 support teams (Field Channel and SE operations teams).
May assist with new hire onboarding for Salesforce CRM and Sales tools partnering with the Tier 1 Sales Operations Support lead and Sales Enablement teams.
What Were Looking For:
1 years of combined sales SDR or sales operations experience ideally at a high-tech or SaaS based company.
Working knowledge of Salesforce and other sales tools including ZoomInfo Outreach.
Basic reporting skills in Salesforce and other tools as well as basic Excel or Google sheets skills to compile simple business analysis.
Strong communication skills and willingness to learn new things quickly.
Well be super impressed if you have experience in any of these:
Knowledge of other sales tools including 6Sense Clari and dashboards (Looker Tableau or PowerBI)
Work Hours:
This position will require you to be available during core business hours as well as scheduled on-call hours.
Due to the global scope of this role core business hours may extend to EMEA and APJ friendly time-zones for some engagements.
Work Location(s) & Travel Requirements:
This position is based out of our Denver office (hybrid)
Fastly currently embraces a largely hybrid model for most roles which allows employees flexibility to split their time between the office and home.
There is a strong preference for Hybrid near a local office.
This position does not require travel unless specified by your manager.

Salary:
The estimated salary range for this position is $75550.00 to $90660.00.
Starting salary may vary based on permissible non-discriminatory factors such as experience skills qualifications and location.
This role may be eligible to participate in Fastlys equity and discretionary bonus programs.
