The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes is currently seeking a 777/9 Mechanical Systems - First Line Manager to join the team in Everett WA.

Position Responsibilities:
Conducts periodic review of overall team staffing levels and skill mix as necessary to accomplish work statement.
Provides oversight of technical decision making and ensures engineering quality and safety
Partners with Design Centers to support 777/9 design/product improvements.
Manages team priorities work statement and budget allocation
Develops skill of team supports teams career development goals
Coordinates with skill teams to meet staffing/skill needs.
Provides status and communicate risks issues and opportunities to engineering and program leadership
Eliminates/mitigates roadblocks and risks both technical and program management related
Integrates across functional organizations including Flight Controls Mechanical/Hydraulics Manufacturing Engineering and Systems Integration Airplane Integration.
Provides technical oversight and schedule management of all related engineering activities including but not limited to CARs ELRs SATs troubleshooting and resolving production/functional test issues flight test squawks in-service issues COSP items and SRPs
Work Authorization:
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Everett WA.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology) chemistry physics mathematics data science or computer science.
5 years of experience in an engineering discipline
3 years of experience leading engineering teams (leading project and teams)
Experience in managing complex projects from conception to completion

Proven ability to lead with the Boeing Values
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of innovative solutions in engineering challenges.
Demonstrated ability in team building coaching and employee development to enhance team performance and engagement.
Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively convey complex technical information to all stakeholders.
Solid technical background with the ability to guide and mentor the team.
