Description: The Department of Humanities at Columbia College seeks an adjunct (part-time) instructor to teach ENGL 107: Preparatory English Composition during the Spring 2026 semester. The class meets Tuesdays and Thursdays 12:30 p.m. 1:50 p.m. beginning Tuesday 13 January. This is an in-seat synchronous class taught on our home campus in Columbia Missouri.
Qualifications: A Masters or PhD in English Rhetoric and Composition Creative Writing or Comparative Literature is required. Preference is given to applicants with experience teaching developmental composition. Please include an unofficial graduate transcript with your application materials. At a later time you may be asked to submit an official academic transcript.
