This role is an opportunity to influence strategic planning and new process creation that will change the way GE Aerospace operates across our supply chain moving forward. This shift will have the intended business outcome of reducing quality escapes across GE Aerospace positively improving on-time delivery output supplier partnerships and customer satisfaction.
In this role you will own the creation and refinement of a portion of the BoC process. You will participate in multiple Kaizen events each year around BoC. You will interface with leadership across design quality and manufacturing. You will act as a Kata coach to the BoC execution team own and create standard work and provide mentoring on how to apply specifications to parts create production lines complete first article inspections and create quality and control plans. You will act as an advisor to the BoC Leader drafting updates to GE Policy and Procedure and be part of the BoC Escalation board.
