Job Summary

Tesoro Group is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join one of our clients teams at 2 two of their properties in Minneapolis and Edina MN. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in residential maintenance specifically in multi-family settings possess general maintenance knowledge be self-motivated and be able to organize multiple tasks throughout the day as well as be self-sufficient. CPO and boiler experience is preferred. This role is a direct hire role.

This role will be working with (2) properties and a total of 100 market-rate units combined.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8 a.m. 4:30 pm with an on-call rotation every 6 weeks. This role is a direct hire role.

Salary: $27-$29/hour DOQ.

Responsibilities and Job Duties:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing various maintenance functions that are necessary to maintain and enhance the value of the property.
Work with the maintenance team and management to ensure the quality of work meets the standards set by the owner.
Perform tasks associated with electrical plumbing and carpentry.
Repair and treat structures such as showers sinks appliances doors cabinets walls and building exteriors.
Pool maintenance and testing may be applicable.
Make units ready for new move-ins.

Qualifications and Experience:

A minimum of 2 years experience working in residential/multi-family maintenance.
Willingness to advance within the field (continuing education and certification opportunities available)
Basic understanding of electrical plumbing and carpentry.
CPO and Boilers experience is highly preferred.
Working knowledge of HVAC systems
Follow oral and written instructions
Ability to communicate with residents co-workers and management
Regular on-time attendance.
Valid and Current Drivers License and Proof of Insurance
Be able to pass a background check before employment.
