What does our Internship Program offer

Keys Enterprise Internship is a 10.5-week program that provides meaningful work that matters offers feedback and coaching and creates engaging events and conversations that will spark excitement and interest in bringing ones full-time career to Key.

Interns are involved in a host of line of business specific projects that directly impact and benefit Keys business and strategic pillars. The program includes networking with Key teammates across all levels of the organization a series of Learning Labs where internal and external speakers provide insight on Keys competitive landscape financial wellness and professional development best practices and an assigned mentor who shares knowledge experience and advice.

About the Real Estate Capital Internship Program

At this office location interns will work in the following business segment: Community Development Lending (CDLI).

• Community Development Lending - The CDLI team is focused on providing debt and equity capital for the development of affordable housing and other community commercial real estate reinvestment development projects that benefit low- and moderate-income neighborhoods.

Because our Summer internship Program is a direct pipeline for our full-time Analyst positions it offers exceptional potential for interns to return upon graduation to start a Real Estate career.

Work assignments may include the following:

• Researching economic conditions and market trends
• Developing strategic contact databases
• Neighborhood industry and prospective tenant research
• Field research and preparation of marketing materials
• Completing a Capstone Project leveraging learnings from the Internship
• Performing other duties as necessary to support the goals and objectives of the Real Estate Capital team

Qualifications

• Must have completed at least two years toward a four-year undergraduate degree program with coursework in finance real estate or a related field with an anticipated graduation in or before May of 2027
• Outstanding academic achievement (minimum undergraduate 3.3 GPA)
• Relevant experience preferred
• Demonstrated teamwork and leadership through extracurricular activities

Compensation and Benefits

This position is eligible to earn an hourly rate of $27 per hour. Compensation also includes a $2000 Summer Internship Sign-on Bonus.

KeyBanks Internship and Analyst positions are not eligible for employment visa sponsorship (e.g. H-1B visa). This includes for example situations where a candidate may have temporary work authorization while enrolled in school or upon graduation (e.g. CPT OPT) but would need H-1B visa sponsorship within a few years of employment in order to maintain employment eligibility.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
