POSITION DESCRIPTION: Southeastern is seeking a qualified candidate to serve as a Behavior Management - Hallway hall monitor will monitor the coordiors lavatory facilities and school grounds to address student conduct and ensure safety in the building. Additonally they must possess a genuine passion for working with a diverse student population to help all students succeed.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identifies building-wide behavior trends and makes appropriate recommendations for remediation.
- Monitors corridors lavatory facilities and school grounds.
- Monitors and addresses student conduct in accordance with the Districts policies regarding behavior management.
- Attend trainings regarding behavior management strategies as required by theAdministration.
- Serve as a role model for students by exhibiting professional conduct at all times.
- Addresses policy infractions e.g. tobacco alcohol vape use on campus propping open doors.
- Observes and promptly reports safety concerns and maintenance issues.
- Documents property damage and suspicious activities.
- Calls for assistance when required to address emergencies or the presence of unauthorized persons.
- Reviews EHall Pass Data and monitors accordingly.
- Manage the In School Suspension room as needed.
- All other duties as assigned by the Superintendent Principal and/or the Vice Principal.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
OUR STUDENTS:Southeastern is a diverse multicultural vocational technical high school that serves over 1600 students from the City of Brockton and eight surrounding towns. Our students balance the rigors of a complete academic course of studies with technical skill training in over 20 career majors. Upon graduation our students are well-prepared for college a career or further technical training.
COMPENSATION:This positionis a school-year employees and are paid in 21 equal installments from September - June or from the initial start date to the end date.
