This assignment is intended to be 6 months in role will report directly to the Materials Manager and will provide an opportunity to gain hands-on material management inventory control CPI and Scheduling experience. Youll have an opportunity to partner with various other teams to solve issues and provide Youll DoParticipate in developing data and trends for materials planningSupport the development of current processes and workflows and assist in driving CPI through standardized processes and implementation of corporate SOPsMay work with the manufacturing team and participate in the development of monthly production volume planning using the business forecast inventory position actual customer orders and the defined capacity the development of processes and plans to improve supply escalated expediting when required to ensure on-time delivery of risks for short-term shortages with internal suppliers to ensure successful customer monitor and expedite product throughout end-to-end supply chain; including these steps/complexities: In-house Manufacturing 3rd party vendor processing Data evaluation/exchange among 3rd party vendors and Internal Quality & EngineeringFacilitate cross-functional coordination of tasks to drive to a positive on time customer deliveryFacilitate expanded SAP use / systemic processes deployment (specific focus on integrating the supply chain into ERP tool use quality data exchange timing of logical with physical movement)What We SeekExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHighly energized results oriented problem solverProficient in MS Excel Project WordBasic understanding of Supply/Demand and MRP principles Strong planning and organizational skillsStrong data presentation skillsTimely Completion of tasksAbility to work independently as well as with othersAbility to research and develop statistical models predictive analysis and data visualizationExperience with relational databases (primarily Microsoft SQL) and data warehouse methodologies/practices would be a great asset but not requiredDesired Major(s) & Graduation YearEnrolled in a 3-year or 4-year University Degree in the field of Supply Chain Management/Data Science/Computer Science/Information Technology/Business or equivalentGraduation date of Spring 2026 or laterEligibilityMust be a currently enrolled studentAvailable to work 40 hours a week M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January through June.
