The Opportunity
TC Energy is looking to add an #EnergyProblemSolver in Houston TX to support our efforts in Energy Problem Solving and our daily operations.
Our Short-Term Marketing team is a natural gas transportation trading team that sits at the forefront of North American energy markets. We are a team that thrives on risk strategy and speed.
We are seeking students enrolled in either undergraduate or graduate programs with strong concentrations in finance economics mathematics or related a Summer Analyst youll work alongside top traders analyze real-time markets and present insights that shape high impact will have an impact from day one where your work will help shape decisions that affect our strategy and future revenue growth.
We engage our students in the very core of our operations. As a valued member of the team youll immerse in a fast paced challenging work solve real world problems and make a meaningful impact. Youll learn about the business and build your professional network by working closely with other skilled people at TC Energy. Every day will enhance your knowledge skills and passion for what you do.
Term length is 3 months.
Minimum Qualifications
Academic Excellence Strong academic performance from a distinguished university with demonstrated excellence in coursework and extracurricular activities is required.
Applicants must have completed at least one semester and be returning to school for at least one semester following their work term.
Focused Thinker Major in finance economics mathematics or other technical field
Risk Taker Drawn to challenge uncertainty and a hunger for adventure
Confident Communicator Comfortable presenting to large audiences and making your voice heard; expect to interface with senior executives

Demonstrate a safety mindset in a professional and personal setting
Exhibit the TC Energy corporate values and incorporate them into work activities and initiatives
