Job Summary
The Ayer Shirley Regional School District is seeking a dynamic Middle School History/Social Studies Teacher to work from September 29 2025 through January 9 primary responsibilities of the Educator will include but not be limited to the following:
- Develop and deliver lesson plans aligned with Massachusetts curriculum standards using district-assigned curricular materials
- Assess student progress through various methods and use the information to adjust instruction
- Provide an equitable classroom environment by effectively meeting the individual needs of all students
- Regularly communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress and behavior.
- Collaborate with peers and participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on educational best practices.
- Complete other duties as assigned by the building administration
