Were looking for aPrincipal Azure DevOps Engineerwith deep experience deploying complex systems to the cloud. Youll be a key member of a talented cross-functional team ofarchitects product managers software hardware and QA engineers working together to power the next-generationaccess control and video surveillance solutionsin the cloud. This role is pivotal in driving the deployment automation and reliability of our Azure-based SaaS platform engineered for99.99% uptime. We valueself-starterswho thrive in fast-paced environments love solving hard problems and are motivated by continuous improvement and innovation.

In this role youll use the latestcutting-edge technologiesto build and support highly available secure and scalable platforms and services. Youll drive cloud automation infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD best practices while solving unique challenges using open-source and cloud-native tools. This is a remote opportunity for individuals that reside in the US.

What Youll Do

  • Architect and automate infrastructure usingTerraform ARM Helm Ansible CloudFormation Vagrant

  • Build and maintainCI/CD pipelinesusing tools likeGitHub Actions

  • Deploy and manage services onAzure Kubernetes Service (AKS)and other Azure resources:
    VNets VMs ACR Azure Container Apps Blob Storage Azure SQL Cosmos DB Event Grid

  • ImplementGitOpsworkflows and manage Git repositories (GitHub Azure DevOps)

  • Support bothLinuxandWindowsenvironments usingBashandPowerShell

  • Enforcecybersecurity best practicesand ensure compliance

  • Collaborate with architects and product owners to define deployment strategies

  • Document architecture runbooks deployment instructions and findings from POCs & evaluations inConfluence

  • Promote DevOps principles: infrastructure-as-code automation continuous improvement and high collaboration

What Were Looking For

Required

  • 8 yearsin software/DevOps roles

  • 5 yearsAzure experience with core services

  • 5 yearsautomating builds/deployments of complex systems

  • 4 yearswith IaC tools (Terraform ARM Helm etc.)

  • 4 yearsmanaging Git repositories and workflows

  • 4 yearsdeploying to Kubernetes clusters

  • 4 yearsmanaging Linux systems;2 yearswith Windows systems

  • Experience with GitOps tools likeArgoCD

  • Strong scripting skills:Bash PowerShell Python JavaScript

  • Deep understanding of containerization:Docker Kubernetes Helm

  • Solid grasp of networking:CIDR subnets NSG VPNs DNS TCP/UDP TLS PKI firewalls proxies API gateways NAT IPv6

  • Experience working withMicrosoft Fabricfor data integration and analytics

  • Experience using Git with various workflow and branching strategies

Preferred

  • Experience withKubernetes Operators

  • Proficiency with tools likekubectl K9s oc helm kustomize ArgoCD

  • Familiarity with registries:Artifactory Azure Artifacts GitHub Packages ACR Harbor Docker Hub Nexus ECR

  • Experience with observability platforms:Elastic Stack Prometheus OpenTelemetry

  • Certifications inKubernetes networking security or cloud platforms (Azure AWS)

  • Video Streaming Experience (Preferred) - Familiarity withWebRTCHLS RTMP RTSPCDN integration andmedia encoding workflows

  • IoT Protocols & Messaging (Preferred) - Experience withMQTT AMQP and brokers like HiveMQRabbitMQ

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $140000 - $187000 (Salary to be determined by the education experience knowledge skills andabilities of the applicant internal equity location and alignment with market data.)
